2025 Game Highlights:
All the teams came to Maine to win the trophy and anything was possible. In the playoffs the East Coast Bangers and Sunset Magentas each had a plan that they executed well. But in the end it boiled down to two teams: The Koala Ballahz versus the Hobart Reds.
The Hobart Reds emerged victorious and left with the 2025 Mike Lichtenstein Summer Classic trophy! Congratulations to the Hobart Reds and to ALL the teams for a great performance!

To: Travis Waddell and the York Little League, Kim and her staff at Betty’s Kitchen Food Truck, Sarah, Katie and Sam at York Beach Beer Company, Lobster in the Rough, Bobby at New England Champion Trophies, and to Marie Ciampaglia, Theresa Gately, John Ciampaglia, Austin Zeliff, Johnny Wilcox, Travis Upham and Tom Schelling for their time and talent in making this wish come true for Mike.

Friday night at York Beach Beer Company was a perfect opportunity for everyone to meet-up with their teammates and friends. Saturday’s Wiffle Ball competition among six teams was first rate, and Saturday night at Lobster in the Rough was awesome; the whole weekend was just as Mike envisioned it - full of fun, music, good company and laughter.
A special thank you to the ball players, volunteers and donors who all played a huge part in making the weekend perfect! We are truly grateful and hope to see you again next year!
