First Annual Wiffle Ball Tournament

July 23rd would have been Mike’s 30th birthday. Mike’s wishes were for his friends and family to stay connected and to make time for one another. He was hopeful that every summer they could get together around his birthday in one of his favorite places, York, Maine to laugh, have fun and raise money for a cause close to his heart.

Mike’s cancer is considered “ultra rare,” so it is ignored in research funding. Mike hoped to make a difference by raising money to fund research into this rare cancer and perhaps directly help another young adult who is suffering from the disease.

Thank you all for remembering Mike and for your participation in this good cause. Also, thank you to the Ciampaglias and to all of Mike’s friends who helped organize this event. A special nod is given to “Mr. C”., who is with Mike in heaven. Together, they have the best seats in the house to enjoy the festivities.

As you join us this weekend, please remember Mike. Think of others, lift-up your friends and be kind. But make no mistake; Mike would want you to do whatever it takes to win the championship!
